Elloree Heritage Museum, South Carolina – Snider Cabin
|
This is a reproduction of the Snider family home in the Elloree Heritage Museum. W. J. Snider founded the town of Elloree in 1886.
Built in the late 18th century, the Snider Cabin was continuously occupied until the 1970s. None of the items were actually used by the Snider Family, but they are typical of an Orangeburg County Farm home of the era.
